It is the richest museum in paintings by Spanish masters and masters of various pictorial schools from the rest of Europe between the 16th and 18th centuries.

Among its main painters is Velázquez , El Greco, Goya, Tiziano, Rubens, Jheronimus Bosch, Murillo and Van Dyck achieving an exhibition of various pictorial styles from the European continent.
